Anne Stafford
For almost 30 years, Anne Stafford tirelessly championed the pursuit of alternatives to institutionalization as part of the Community Living movement. Upon her retirement in 1993, Community Living Ontario created the Light Up the Future Bursary in Anne’s name. This bursary is awarded to people who have an intellectual disability who are pursuing a professional development opportunity through an educational program or personal interest course.
